Getting to this place was such a hassle. It felt like something that should’ve been straightforward, but somehow it turned into changing trains, checking directions, and then wandering around trying to figure out where it actually was. The directions weren’t much help either. For somewhere that’s meant to be a fun night out, just getting through the door shouldn’t be this annoying. I wouldn’t go again unless I was nearby already or taking a taxi.

Check-in was a bit of a mess. We stood in the queue for ages, and by the time we finally got to the desk, the staff barely even looked at our booking. Frustrating start to the visit.

The show itself was fine, no real complaints there. But the seats... yeah, they really let the whole experience down. They were so cramped and hard, and my knees were basically pressed in the entire time. I kept trying to get comfortable but just couldn’t really relax. For the price, I expected a bit better.

I started checking out, but the whole process felt a little sketchy. You can usually tell when a site doesn’t seem trustworthy, so I just backed out instead of risking it.

The sets actually looked nice, but the whole production felt a bit chaotic and cheap in parts. I was really expecting more for what I paid, tbh!!

I had a really good time watching this. I tend to notice the dancing more than anything else, and the choreography definitely kept my attention for most of the show. A few sections felt a little rushed to me, but the dancers were so sharp and full of energy that I kept getting drawn back in. Overall, it was a really fun performance, just not completely perfect for me.

Unfortunately, the staff came across as rude again. I was really hoping it would be better this time, but it felt like the same issue as before, which is tiring.

I went mostly because I’m a big fan of the film, but to be fair, the cast ended up being the real highlight for me. The singing was genuinely impressive, and the main leads brought so much energy to the stage. Some of the dancers were brilliant too, there were a few I kept finding myself watching because they were just that good.

I’m giving it 4 stars because a couple of moments felt a little rushed, and the sound wasn’t perfect from where we were sitting. That might not be the same for everyone, though, and it definitely didn’t ruin the night. Overall, it was really fun, and the talent on stage was obvious

I booked tickets through moulin-rouge.co.uk and the confirmation email came through quickly, which was reassuring. The actual tickets took a bit longer than I expected though, and I’ll admit I started checking my inbox a lot because I was slightly worried I’d been fooled or missed something.
In the end, everything was totally fine. The links opened without any issues and we got into the show with no problems at all. I’d probably use them again, but I do wish they were a bit clearer about when the tickets would actually arrive.

I enjoyed the night, but for the price, you kind of hope to be blown away, and I just wasn’t quite there. It was a nice experience, though I’m not sure I’d be rushing back anytime soon.
